Veldtschoen Waste Management Solutions was founded on a simple but powerful question: "What if waste had value?"
We saw that Namibians needed more than awareness — they needed a system that made recycling easy, accessible, and genuinely rewarding. So we built one. From door-to-door collection services to school programmes and state-of-the-art Reverse Vending Machines, every initiative we run is designed to keep recyclable material out of landfills and in the hands of responsible processors.

Our Vision Statement
To inspire and challenge Namibians to achieve the highest waste reduction, recycling, and reuse goals in the nation through innovation and creativity, sound advancements in science and technology, and efficient programmes that improve economic vitality and environmental sustainability.
We work with civic, business, government, educational and community groups across the country to improve aesthetic and ecological value through litter control, waste reduction, and proper disposal of solid waste.
Our Mission Statement
- Restore, protect and enhance the environment to ensure public health, environmental quality and economic vitality.
- Transfer recyclables to appropriate facilities until our goal of zero waste is achieved.
- Maintain and operate a waste diversion and recycling facility — including a "Free Store" — for the benefit of Namibians, visitors, local businesses and the environment.
- Manage the diversion, recycling and reuse of Namibia's waste consistent with applicable government regulations.
- Promote community education and support for continued waste reduction, reuse and recycling toward zero waste.

Recycle From Home
We provide collection bags so you can sort aluminium cans, paper, plastic and glass bottles at home. Schedule a pickup online and put items out — we handle the rest. No car trips, no hassle.
School Recycling
We partner with schools to run structured waste recycling programmes that educate young pupils and create lasting change in communities. Large collection bags provided before each collection day.
Reverse Vending Machines
Our automated machines provide an easy, rewarding method for collecting, sorting and handling the return of used beverage containers for recycling or reuse. Simply insert, receive your reward.
